Walk-ins suspended at Churchill Square this week

All walk-in vaccinations have been suspended at Churchill Square this week but there’s plenty of appointments available to book every day.

With the introduction of the Spring boosters this week the vaccination centre at Churchill Square is busy. Stopping walk-ins will allow staff to prioritise booked appointments, ensure vaccine supply and avoid queues.

Appointments are still available though and so you can book online or call 119 to arrange an appointment at the city centre location. There’s also an hour free parking available.

Vaccinations for 12-15 year olds

If your child hasn’t had all their Covid vaccines yet you can book an appointment at Churchill Square.

A parent or carer must attend with the young person, and consent can be given on the day.

Get your Spring Booster

Spring boosters are now available to book for:

  • adults aged 75 years and over

  • residents in care homes for older adults

  • individuals aged 12 years and over who have a weakened immune system.

Residents in care homes for older adults are also eligible and these are being arranged directly with individual homes.

We recommend you get your booster 6 months after your previous booster dose so you have the best possible protection against COVID-19.

Those who are eligible are being contacted by the NHS. Once invited you will be able to book your appointments online or by calling NHS 119.

The appointment dates you'll be offered start from 3 months (91 days) after your previous dose but booking an appointment around 6 months is preferable to last you over the summer months and keep you protected until Autumn.

Free transport or parking

If you need help to get to and from a vaccination session in the city, free transport is available, but you’ll need to book ahead:

Phone 01444 275 008 from 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

One-hour free parking is available for anyone getting a vaccine at Churchill Square and there is also free parking at Brighton Racecourse if you get your vaccine there.
