Vaccinations take to the road - 9 to 13 June

To make sure as many people as possible in Brighton & Hove can take up the opportunity to be vaccinated, the NHS vaccination team is taking jabs out into the community. Not everyone is able to get to the main vaccination centres for their first appointment, so the converted bus and ambulance park in areas around the city and take the vaccine to them. The mobile service is currently giving first dose vaccination shots at regular sites in North Laine and Hove and is working with community and religious groups to reach all areas of the city.

The quieter, more personal service is great for people who don't feel ready to go out to busy places, or whose schedule makes it easier to drop-in on the day. It's a great alternative for anyone who can't get to the Brighton Centre, the Racecourse and County Oak. Drop-in appointments are available on the day, but to be sure of being seen it is best to book ahead.
