Mobile Vaccination Service Weekend Dates 20 - 23 May
The popular mobile community vaccination service continues this weekend with visits to Peacehaven, St Peter's Church and Brunswick Square.
It's an alternative for anyone who is not able to get to one of the main vaccination centres at the Brighton Centre, the Racecourse and County Oak.
The quieter, more personal service is great for people who don't feel ready to go out to busy places yet, or who prefer to visit a local service.
Where and when
- Thursday 20 May from 11am to 4pm - Meridian Centre, Peacehaven
- Friday 21 and Saturday 22 May from 10.30am to 2.30pm - St Peter’s Church car park, York Place, Brighton, BN1 4GU
- Sunday 23 May from 10.30am to 2.30pm - Brunswick Square (pavement between Western Road and the square), Brighton BN3 1EJ
Some drop-in appointments are available on the day, but to be sure of an appointment it is best to book ahead.
Who can book
Everyone over 40 years old who:
- cannot get to one of the main vaccination centers
- has a serious long term health issue
- is an unpaid carer
How to book
Call 0300 303 8060
When you go to your appointment take one form of ID and your NHS number if you know it (but you can still get your vaccine if you don’t). Also, remember to wear something loose that gives easy access to your upper arm.
If you’ve already booked to have your vaccination somewhere else but would prefer to come to the mobile service, please cancel your other appointment so that someone else can have your slot.
You can also book to get vaccinated at the Brighton Centre or Brighton Racecourse seven days a week online or by calling 119.
Free transport to your vaccination appointment is also available if you need it. Full details of all the options available are explained on our vaccinations page.
