City’s youth services still offering support through Covid-19 crisis

More than 40 youth groups and organisations across Brighton & Hove are continuing to offer services to support young people through the Covid-19 crisis.

All these organisations have adapted what they offer in light of social distancing guidance.

The youth services directory is available on the council’s website.

The list includes local charities, community groups, businesses, and the council’s own services for young people.

Councillor Hannah Clare, chair of the council’s children, young people and skills committee, said:

“Lockdown and the Covid-19 restrictions are making life incredibly hard for children and young people in our city.

“But whatever the circumstances - our city’s youth services are really important in giving young people somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.

“I really value what they do for our city.

“I’m grateful to all the organisations in our online directory who are continuing to support young people through this very difficult time.”
