Whether you are unemployed, have been made redundant due to the pandemic or looking for a career change, an adult learning course could help you achieve your goals.
We are providing a wide range of day and evening classes, which are free or low-cost for aged 19+ residents. All courses are free if you are unemployed or earn less than £17,004.
The courses offer a mix of socially distanced, face-to-face teaching and online learning, and include Level 1 & 2 industry recognised qualifications.
Our aim is to deliver an adult learning programme that supports the needs of local people. We work with our communities, local enterprise partners and other key stakeholders to ensure learning opportunities reach those who need it.
Councillor Hannah Clare, chair of the Children, Young People and Skills, Committee said: “If your career has been affected by Covid-19, these courses offer a chance to do something new and positive.
“They can help you improve your personal skills, become more employable and build your career aspirations.
