After a competitive interview process Anna Gianfrancesco has been appointed as permanent Assistant Director for Children’s Safeguarding & Care.
Deb Austin, Executive Director of Families, Children and Learning, said: “Anna has already been leading the service through enormous challenges over the last 12 months.
“I have every confidence she will continue that good into the future, taking our Safeguarding and Care services from strength to strength.”
Anna added: “I’m looking forward to taking up the role permanently. Over the last year Safeguarding and Care have delivered an amazing service while working with the challenges of Covid 19.
“I believe, as we move forward, the service will build on the experience of the last year and continue to provide incredible services safeguarding children and young people in the city.”
