Virtual Ageing Well Festival

To celebrate International Older Person’s Day on Thursday 1 October the Ageing Well service is hosting a range of online activities for you to get involved in over the next few days.

With coronavirus limiting the events that are being held in person, this year's Ageing Well Festival is taking advantage of the digital world.

They have put together a programme of virtual events with organisations from across the city.

Most events are taking place on 1 October with a few others over the next few days. They include:

  • online exercise and dance classes
  • music and singing groups
  • virtual quizzes
  • interactive art sessions
  • opportunities to chat with others

The theme of the festival is 'healthy ageing in the new normal' – celebrating how people have found new solutions to connect, stay active and go about their lives.

For more information about each session, including details of how to join, please have a look at the full event programme on the Ageing Well Festival website.
