Stanmer Nursery will cease trading from 1 March 2018.
The nursery is closing to make way for the restoration of the Walled Garden.
The nursery and walled garden will be leased to Plumpton College. The building work should be completed by 2020 after which the walled garden will be open to the public.
This has been made possible due to the success of a bid by Brighton & Hove City Council to the Heritage Lottery Fund, part of the Stanmer Park Restoration Project.
