The famous Floral Clock in Hove takes on a festive new look next week with a Christmas tree, complete with twinkling lights.
On Tuesday, (4 December) members of Brunswick in Bloom are inviting residents to join them for the lighting of the Floral Clock Christmas tree.
The event will start at 3.45pm at St John the Baptist Church, in Palmeira Square, where children from Brunswick Primary School Choir will be singing Christmas carols.
The group will then move to Palmeira Square where The Fairy Godmother, will be switching on the Christmas tree lights, accompanied by Deputy Mayor of Brighton & Hove, Cllr Alex Phillips, at 4.30pm.
Entertainment will be provided by members of the Rotary Club Choir.
The annual Floral Clock Christmas tree is installed by Brighton & Hove City Council’s Cityparks team.
