Cycle training and maintenance courses now available
Have you thought about taking up cycling but don’t feel confident enough? Want to feel more confident cycling on busy roads, negotiating junctions and communicating with other road users?
Sign up now to the council’s City Cycling Skills courses, suitable for those wanting to learn to ride, or to get back cycling after a long break, to experienced cyclists. There are also two levels of cycle maintenance courses too, from beginners to intermediate, so you can learn more about how to look after your bike and replace worn out parts.
Courses cost from as little as £10 up to £20. These courses are subsidised by the Department for Transport’s Access Fund for Sustainable Travel, from which Brighton & Hove City Council successfully won funding in January last year.
