Apprenticeships - it's a game of two halves!

Clashing with the start of a World Cup semi-final could turn out to be an advantage for an information event about apprenticeships at the Brighton Centre on Tuesday 10 July from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.

Brighton & Hove City Council’s apprenticeship programme manager Carla Butler said: “This event is definitely going to be a game of two halves.

“We know there will be a lot of people coming early to get back for the semi-final kick off at 7pm.

“But we also know that other people who don’t follow football may fancy coming along later when things will be quieter.

“Our event is a great chance to find out what it’s like to be an apprentice and how it can benefit you.

“You'll be able to speak to a number of employers who offer apprenticeships as well as training providers.”

Apprenticeships aren’t just for school and college leavers. Anyone over the age of 16 can apply.

They give you the opportunity to earn while you learn and gain a nationally recognised qualification.
