TAKEPART kicks off this weekend for its 10th anniversary!
TAKEPART will be back this weekend to celebrate its 10th anniversary!
The biggest celebration of sport and physical activity in the city starts with a launch event at The Level on Saturday 17 June.
To kick the festival off there will be local dance groups, free workshops, skateboarding tutorials, martial arts, hula hooping and more.
Simply turn up and TAKEPART - all activities are suitable for beginners and free!
To celebrate TAKEPART’s 10th anniversary we are launching the TAKEPART Golden Ticket. This voucher will let you try a free activity with any of the organisations supporting the scheme between 17 June and 30 September 2017.
Throughout the festival there will be lots of events going on and opportunities to try out new sports and activities.
You can join in with International Yoga Day, Sand Sports Weekend and GO TRI at King Alfred Leisure Centre, all of which are free events. There will also be TAKEPART events at many locations including Knoll Park, Manor Gym and Wish Park.
