Supporting the Seagulls!

Today councillors showed their support for Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club at the full council meeting in Brighton Town Hall.

The club is encouraging everyone to don the blue and white stripes throughout April to show their support for the Albion this season.

At the start of this evening's meeting the Mayor, Councillor Pete West, spoke warmly of the council's support for the Seagulls and councillors joined in sharing their appreciation for the club

Martin Perry, Executive Director from BHAFC, was invited to join the occasion and thanked councillors for their well wishes.

The Albion is welcoming everyone to join in. It is simple to take part, just post a picture of you wearing blue-and-white tagging @OfficialBHAFC, using the #Together hashtag and include your own unique message of support for the team.

The council will continue to find ways to show support for the Albion in the weeks ahead. From Monday the Albion flag will fly from the council's three town halls in Brighton, Hove and Portslade.
