Charlie Craggs is making a name for herself with her radical and chic form of activism, Nail Transphobia.
Nail Transphobia founder Charlie travels around the UK with her pop up nail salon to museums, galleries and festivals and offers the public FREE fantastic manicures, whilst having a chat with a trans person. Most people haven't met a trans person and quite often have a lot of misconceptions about them.
To mark International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia which takes place on Wednesday 17 May, on Thursday 18 May, Brighton & Hove City Council’s LGBT Workers Forum have invited Charlie to spend the afternoon in the main auditorium of Jubilee Library.
Charlie will spend the afternoon being herself and sharing not only her exquisite manicure skills but also her trans wisdom.
It’s free, fun, informative and simply a superb way of spending ten minutes in the company of a fascinating person dedicated to making the world a better place, one set of perfectly French polished nails at a time.
Charlie will be in the main auditorium of Jubilee Library between 2-5pm.
