Garden waste service better than a rabbit
A fluffy black lop-eared rabbit with an appetite for garden plants is helping plug Brighton & Hove City Council’s garden waste collection service.
Since launching the service a year ago, it has attracted 5000 customers.
Wilbur the rabbit is seen scoffing his owner’s garden plants in a new council YouTube video promoting the scheme.
We’re ruthlessly exploiting the fact everyone likes a fluffy rabbit. We’re trying to get across the message that the garden waste service is cheap and easy. Then to justify Wilbur’s unlikely appearance in the film we helpfully suggest a rabbit probably isn’t.
