There are changes are being made to local bus services this summer.
The changes, planned for April, mainly affect commercial bus routes provided by Brighton & Hove Buses, Compass Travel, Metrobus and Stagecoach.
There are also changes to council-funded bus routes:
- Brighton & Hove Buses ‘Breeze up to the Downs’ routes 77, 78 and 79
- Compass route 37 (most of this service will now be funded by the council), 56 and 56E
For more details visit the public transport news pages on the council’s website.
Comments on the planned bus service changes, or any other public transport issues, are welcome and will be taken into consideration when the council reviews the bus services it funds. Comments about commercial services will be passed to the relevant company.
Full, updated timetables for all services will be published in the Summer 2017 edition of Bus Times, which will be widely available from mid-April. Full timetables can also be found on the Traveline website or on bus operators’ websites.
