New Executive Director for Health & Adult Social Care
Brighton & Hove City Council’s Executive Leadership team is now complete with the appointment of the new Executive Director for Health & Adult Social Care.
Rob Persey will lead the Health & Adult Social Care directorate. Rob will be responsible for the team which commissions services to improve public health as well as providing care and support to frail or vulnerable people and their carers. Rob is currently Assistant Director Commissioning for health and adult social care services for the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and also Wandsworth Borough Council.
Rob said: “I am looking forward to bringing my experience and enthusiasm to this role. I will be listening to my council colleagues, councillors and all interested parties to ensure the delivery of services in the city. Together we will play a leadership role in meeting the challenges we face and, building upon our existing strengths, we will improve the overall health and wellbeing of all our residents.”

Rob’s recruitment follows the recent appointments of Nick Hibberd as Executive Director of Economy, Environment & Culture and Larissa Reed as Executive Director for Neighbourhoods, Communities and Housing.
