Your thoughts please on Whitehawk housing plan

Brighton & Hove residents are being asked for their views on plans by the council to create 17 new homes in Whitehawk.

The development of one and two bedroom flats is planned on the site of the council’s former Manor Place Housing Office and the grounds of the council’s Robert Lodge housing block in Whitehawk Road.

A drop-in consultation event for residents at Robert Lodge and surrounding streets will be held between 3pm and 8pm on Tuesday April 29 at the Robert Lodge meeting room.

Residents will be able to see and comment on the latest designs and talk to the architect and council staff.

After taking residents’ feedback into account, the council hopes to apply for planning permission for the proposed development in the summer.

If you cannot make it to the consultation event but would like to know more about the proposals and give your views, please:
