Lets talk about care services for adults in Brighton & Hove

Get involved in helping to make improvements to some of our care services for adults across the city at Jubilee Library and online or through social media.

Brighton & Hove City Council Adult Social Care services are asking people to get involved with events being held at The Jubilee Library next week (7-11 April)         

Drop in on the day to meet the Adult Social Care team in the foyer of the library to give your thoughts and feedback. You do not need to be currently using the service to attend, however you may know someone who does or you may need to use them in the future. The council is inviting everyone to get involved.

Offering a range of topics to discuss, each drop-in session will include a mix of staff from the council's Adult Social Care team, Brighton & Hove Federation of Disabled People and Healthwatch Brighton and Hove. There will be a different theme on each of the five days and you can turn up at any time during the session.  

  • Monday 7 April 2pm to 5pm, information and advice
  • Tuesday 8 April 11am to 2pm, Support in my community
  • Wednesday 9 April 2pm to 5pm, Personal budgets and flexible support
  • Thursday 10 April 11am to 2pm, Workforce supporting me
  • Friday 11 April 2pm to 5pm, Feeling safe        

Cllr Rob Jarrett, Chair of Adult Care & Health Committee, said: “These feedback sessions are important and it’s a great opportunity to improve not only as a council but as a city, providing the best possible advice and facilities to residents. We encourage everyone to get involved as it’s important for people to tell us what they want from their services so that we can continue to improve them.”
