Fostering – find out more at Hove event
A fostering information event is being held on Saturday 29 March from 10.30am to midday at the Cornerstone Community Centre, Church Road, Hove, BN3 2FL.
The event is being run by Brighton & Hove City Council’s fostering team. It’s a great opportunity to find out more about fostering, ask questions and talk to members of the team as well as current foster carers.
The chair of the council’s children and young people committee, Councillor Sue Shanks, said: “There’s no upper age limit to fostering.
“If you have a spare bedroom and the time and energy to look after children who have had a difficult start in life then we’d love to hear from you.
“We welcome interest in fostering from all sections of the community.”
Financial allowances of up to £1,400 per month are available for every child or young person you foster.
