Find out more about fostering on January 29
An event in Rottingdean on Wednesday 29 January could help you decide whether you’d like to become a foster carer.
Brighton & Hove City Council’s fostering team is running an information event on Wednesday 29 January from 7pm to 8.30pm at the Whiteway Centre in Whiteway Lane, Rottingdean BN2 7HB.
It’s a chance to find out more about fostering, meet members of the fostering team and also hear from current foster carers about their experiences.
The chair of the council’s children and young people committee, Councillor Sue Shanks, said: “If you like children, have experience of looking after them and would like to know more about fostering we’d love to hear from you.”
Financial allowances of up to £1,400 per month are available for every child or young person you foster.
