Make your voice heard on parking in the Preston Park Triangle
Residents, businesses and visitors who park in the triangle of roads to the west of Fiveways junction in Brighton are being asked whether they would like a residents’ parking scheme.
Consultation starts on 11 November on whether to introduce a new scheme in the Preston Park Triangle, which incorporate the roads between Preston Drove (including Preston Drove), Preston Park Avenue and Stanford Avenue.
As well as questionnaires sent to residents, there will also be a public exhibition at Hove Town Hall parking shop from 11 November to 20 December, 9am to 5pm. Or you can take part online at http://consult.brighton-hove.gov.uk/portal
Councillor Ian Davey, lead member for transport at Brighton & Hove City Council, said: “New residents parking schemes are explored at the request of the local community and people have told us about the severe parking pressures in the area and the problems they are facing. We are pleased to offer residents, businesses and visitors the opportunity to give us their views on a scheme which could help improve parking in the area.”
Deadline for responses is 20 December.
