KEEP calm and carry on
Senior History Centre Officer Paul Jordan and History Centre Officer Kate Elms have been working for months to ensure the Royal Pavilion & Museums' collection of local books, directories, journals and maps are safely packed and transported to their new home at the Keep.
Royal Pavilion & Museums staff are busy getting everything ready for the big move to the Keep – the £19 million purpose built resource centre in Moulsecoomb, which will bring together a range of nationally important collections from the city and county for the first time. The stylish and comfortable new buildings will house over six miles of archives and historical resources dating back almost 1,000 years.
The Keep is a partnership project between Brighton & Hove City Council, East Sussex County Council and the University of Sussex.
