The Active for Life project is run by the city’s Healthy Lifestyles Team and helps people lead active lifestyles. Active for Life is an established city-wide project supporting residents to be more active, more often.
We work with residents, clubs, volunteers, community groups and other organisations to run sessions and events across the city. We also provide advice, guidance and support to individuals through our referral scheme. and support them to be more active, more often.

About the project
Active for Life is run by Brighton & Hove City Council and they support people to lead active lifestyles.
From a small scale pilot in Hollingdean in 2005, Active For Life has grown into a city-wide initiative. We reach out to thousands of Brighton & Hove residents every year, and support them to be more active, more often.
