The Level Communities Forum meetings
Meetings usually take place monthly in the MacLaren Pavilion on The Level. Keep an eye on noticeboards at the park, plus the Forum's website and its facebook page for news of forthcoming meetings and activities.
The Level Communities Forum website is under development by the forum. There are still some tweaks to be made, but the forum hopes you like it!
What is The Level Communities Forum (LCF)?
The LCF is a group of local people committed to working with the city council and others for the park's long-term benefit. The Forum is independent, and is constituted with an elected committee.
Members contribute their time, skills and enthusiasm as individuals or as representatives of local community groups or businesses (or both) to help the group move forward with plans for an ongoing community events and activities programme.
The forum is keen to attract and involve new members who can help in a variety of ways, both formal and informal, and to make sure a wide variety of community interests are represented.
The forum meets about once a month at The Level. Meetings are friendly, informal and cover a wide range of topics concerned with The Level. There is a separate events committee which plans and runs regular events. The picture above shows one of our volunteer 'LevelMakers' talking to a visitor at one of these events.
