Saltdean Library will be moving to temporary premises while the Saltdean Lido development work takes place.

We're not able to offer a libraries extra opening on the temporary premises.

The closest alternative library is Rottingdean Library.

Library opening hours

The library is open on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday.

The library opening hours are:

  • Tuesday and Friday: 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm
  • Saturday: 9:30am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm

Between 1pm to 2pm the library is closed.

The library has:

  • free Wi-Fi  
  • areas for children and teenagers

Digital facilities

The library has computers, a printer and a scanner. You can book a computer in advance.
