How to hire a room in our libraries

We have different rooms you can hire in our libraries for meetings, conferences and events.

Book a room in Jubilee Library

Rooms in Jubilee Library

You can book a room for:

  • a full day from 9am to 5pm
  • a half day from 9am to 1pm
  • a half day from 1pm to 5pm

Room facilities

The rooms in Jubilee Library are available 7 days a week and have the following:

  • WiFi
  • a flipchart stand and paper
  • accessible toilets on each floor
  • drinking water
  • air conditioning in the larger rooms

Tea, coffee, milk and biscuits can be provided for £2.20 per serving.

Rooms 1, 2, 3 and 4 all have plasma screens with laptop connections. A DVD/Blu-ray player is available on request.

The conference hall and room 2 have access to a PA system.

Registered charities can hire rooms at a lower rate.

Evening hire is available at a higher rate.

Rooms in community libraries

You can book meeting rooms and IT rooms in our community libraries.

The cost starts from £100 per morning, afternoon or evening session. Sessions booked outside normal opening times are at a higher rate.

Some rooms have a small kitchen. We can provide tea, coffee, milk and biscuits at Hove Library for £2.20 per serving.
