We have different rooms you can hire in our libraries for meetings, conferences and events.

How to book a room in our libraries

The rooms in Jubilee Library

You can book a full day from 9am to 5pm, or a half day from 9am to 1pm, or from 1pm to 5pm.

The rooms in Jubilee Library are available 7 days a week, and have:

  • WiFi
  • flipchart stand and paper
  • accessible toilets on each floor
  • drinking water
  • air conditioning in the larger rooms
  • tea, coffee, milk and biscuits provided for £2 per serving
  • rooms 1, 2, 3 and 4 all have plasma screens with laptop connection, and a DVD/Blu-ray player is available on request
  • the Conference Hall and room 2 have access to a PA System

You can get a lower rate for registered charities.

Evening hire is available, but is a higher rate.

Rooms in community libraries

You can book meeting rooms and IT rooms in our community libraries.

The cost is £80 per morning, afternoon or evening session. Sessions booked outside normal opening times are a higher rate.

Some rooms have a small kitchen, and we can provide tea, coffee, milk and biscuits at Hove Library for £2 per serving.
