Heroes Welcome in Brighton & Hove

The Heroes Welcome scheme aims to provide a Heroes Welcome to members of the British Armed Forces (including reserved forces) on production of an ID card (MOD90) and to veterans on production of a Veterans' badge. The scheme first started in Scarborough when a few local businesses grouped together in order to offer visiting service personnel special discounts and has been running in Brighton & Hove since 2009.

The council has now relaunched the scheme part of the local Brighton & Hove Armed Forces Community Covenant

We aim to increase the range of local businesses who offer discounts, service upgrades or special acknowledgement for current and ex service personnel living, working in and visiting the city.

Keep a look out for places that display the Heroes Welcome logo.
