About
The British rescue operation in 1938, known as the Kindertransport, saved the lives of over 10,000 Jewish children from Nazi Germany, Austria, and Czechoslovakia.
Children were transported via train, boat, and plane to England, soon after the “Kristallnacht” (“Night of the Broken Glass”) attacks on Jewish community on 9th November 1938.
The exhibition displays the portraits of children whose lives were saved in other countries around the world. Many of those children had become globally prominent figures in academia, arts, literature and science.
