Upcoming Health Counts survey
The Health Counts Survey 2024 will open on 18 March and will run for six weeks until 24 April 2024.
It provides data on a range of health topics and lifestyles, and it includes validated measures and questions that are comparable with previous surveys.
The data generated is used to inform decisions about what services and support are needed to meet people's needs. The data can also be used to show how health inequalities have narrowed or widened over time, by area within the city and between different groups.
Health Counts is funded by Brighton & Hove City Council’s Public Health Department. It is being led by the University of Brighton in collaboration with Healthwatch Brighton and Hove, NHS Sussex, Brighton and Sussex Medical School, Brighton and Hove Federation, and Brighton & Hove City Council’s Public Health Intelligence team.
