Find information that will support your application.
You can view your applications in the Recruitment Hub. This includes applications you haven't finished and ones you have submitted.
From early 2026, we are moving our recruitment system. You'll need to download any CVs, supporting statements and application information from the Recruitment Hub that might be helpful for future applications. This data will not be transferred to the new system.
If you have applications in progress in the Recruitment Hub, they will still be there.
Make sure you create an account on our new jobs board to apply for new vacancies.
Firstly, log into the Recruitment Hub and select ‘All Applications’ on the left. You'll be able to see each application. Then, select the desired application and 'print', then 'save as PDF' in the printing options page.
This will save your application and answers as a PDF but won’t save the attachments on each application.
To save the attachments, select 'download' at the bottom of the application summary page. To download the CV attached to your profile, select the profile tab and 'download CV'.
As part of your application, you will be asked if you would like to be considered under our Disability Confident scheme. If you say yes and if your application shows you meet the minimum essential criteria for the job, you will be offered an interview under our Offer of an Interview Scheme.
If you are shortlisted, please let the recruiting manager know as soon as possible if there are adjustments you'd like us to make to support you at the interview.
Most of our job adverts include the name and contact details of the hiring manager for the role. You can contact them if you have specific questions about the job or would like an informal chat about it before applying.
You can visit our job search page and recruitment hub from any computer with an internet connection. This includes computers for public use in libraries, community centres and internet cafes.
Ask library staff for help to use the computers in our libraries.
You can set up a free personal email account through a provider like Hotmail or Google.
Keep your personal details safe. Remember to log out of your account when you use a shared computer.
Contact the Recruitment team if you'd like to complete your application in a different format, such as large print, PDF or Word.
