Paid weeks per year: 47.36 (nclusive of holiday entitlement)

Hours:  TERM TIME (LEVEL B) Monday-Friday 8.55-3.05pm (unpaid 30 min lunch-break)(The school would consider this post as a job-share with applicants offering either five mornings 8.30am-1.30pm or five afternoons. 12.30pm-3.30pm )                                    

Start date: As soon as available following interview 

About the role

Peter Gladwin is looking to appoint an adaptable, resilient and reflective Teaching Assistant to join our staff team.  This role is to work with children with high needs (e.g. with an education health care plan) as well as to support learning in class and includes delivering individual and group intervention programmes.  A particular interest in working with children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 is desirable though not essential as there maybe more than one post available.

Recent experience of supporting primary aged pupils with a range of needs including ASC, cognition & learning and SEMH is desirable.
