Paid weeks per year: Work 39, paid 45.05 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

Actual salary £17,644 - £17,943 (Full Time Salary range £25,119 - £25,545 - April 2023 settlement)

Blatchington Mill School is seeking to recruit to this newly created role in this successful and popular school. 

About the role

This new position has been developed to ensure the school’s compliance with General Data Protection Regulations.  The successful candidate will support the School Business Manager with responses to Subject Access Requests and Freedom of Information Requests as well as checking that all platforms and systems used by the school meet GDPR requirements.  Some further administrative work may be required and a good level of literacy and confidence in the use of technology is important.

The successful candidate will have great attention to detail, be well organised and solution focussed.  This is a great opportunity to be key in the development of this area in our dynamic secondary school environment.

Induction and training would be provided and we encourage ongoing professional development.
