Job introduction
We currently have a vacancy for a Pupil and Family Support Worker at Downs View. This role is based at Downs View Woodingdean but will also support students at the college site.
We are a highly innovative, committed, outward looking and enthusiastic organisation in all aspects of our work but especially: highest quality education and care, inclusive practice, staff development and parental engagement.
We have 170 pupils at Downs View Woodingdean (aged 4 to 16) and have needs related to SLD/PMLD/ASC and complex needs. Our 16-19 College provision is at our Link College site (Surrenden Road).
Start date: September 2023
About the role
We are looking to recruit an experienced Teaching Assistant with experience of working with students with SEND. The role is to support Downs View families and help them and our students with social, emotional and health development. This will involve targeted individual support for families and carers. The role is full time but the hours are negotiable.
