Paid weeks per year: 47.36 (inclusive of holiday entitlement)

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

West Hove Infant School and Hove Junior School are two large popular schools over three sites, working under the Hove Learning Federation.  We are looking for a Finance Assistant to work in our busy school office. 

About the role

Working under the guidance of our School Business Manager, you will need to be able to:

 

  • Manage a busy workload, exercise initiative and work well under pressure
  • Have relevant financial experience of working within a school or similar environment (preferable experience of using FMS, ParentPay and other financial management systems)
  • Be flexible to the demands of the role across three sites
  • Have excellent numerical and administrative skills
  • Be meticulous in your approach to varied tasks
  • Have a positive attitude and sense of humour.

Previous experience working in a school setting would be an advantage but is not essential.
