We are looking for a Music Specialist to join our team. We are very proud of Music provision here at CAW and we are looking to take Music and performance even further in the coming years. The successful candidate must be able to work with the flexibility that a busy school environment demands, teaching and leading effectively across the whole 4-11 years age range. Our Music Specialist Teacher will embark upon an exciting phase of curriculum design with our Quality of Education Team and deliver our curriculum to every age phase, nurturing creativity and spotting pupil talent early. We have a number of effective subject-specialism CPD models in place that we are excited to emulate in Music and performance with the successful candidate.

Paid weeks per year: 52

Start date: 1st September 2023 

About the role

Our Music Specialist Teacher will be appointed on a 0.6 FTE, three full days a week, attending weekly Professional Development Meetings and devising and offering extra-curricular activities weekly. The successful candidate will form part of one of our dynamic learning teams under the care of one of our Quality of Education Leads.
