Job introduction

The City Council’s Child Road Safety Training Team are looking for active and committed people to help children and parents to cross some of the City’s busier roads on their way to and from school. Officers work for 30 to 40 minutes both mornings and afternoons and out in all weather conditions.

Training, uniform and equipment will be provided to successful applicants.

Officers are needed for 30 and 40 mins both mornings and afternoons and out in all weather conditions

Example rota: 8.35 - 9.05  14.50 - 15.20

We have vacancies at the following schools across the City:

County Oak Avenue, Carden Primary School - 5 hours 25 mins per week (8.30 – 9.00          14.50 -15.25)

The Green, Rottingdean for Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School - 5 hours per week (8.30 - 9.00  15.00 - 15.30)

Church Road. Portslade, St Peter’s Primary School – 7 hours per week (8.20 – 9.05  15.00 – 15.45)

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
