About the role

Beaconsfield Villas is recruiting a Deputy Managers (37 hours)

About us:

At Beaconsfield Villas we provide 24 hour 7 day a week support for 6 adults who have a learning disability and challenging  behaviour. The service users live in 4 separate flats that creates a homely environment and our dedicated team of staff work hard to ensure that our residents’ specific needs are met in a caring and sensitive manner and skills are developed in a way that promotes their independence.

Our last CQC inspection rated the service as “good” noting that family and carers were very happy with the staff team and the service that is provided to their family member.

We are looking to recruit a Deputy Manager who has proven experience of working with people who have learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. You will play an important role in supporting the manager to further develop the service and lead the staff team. You will also need to work closely with families and a multi-disciplinary team. 

About you:

You will need to have experience and an understanding of staff supervision, have clear written and verbal communication skills and be able to work within and manage the team. It is preferable that the successful candidate has a full driving license (three points maximum) to drive the unit cars.

Experience in supporting individuals with Challenging behaviour and the principles of Positive Behaviour Support would be a bonus. Additional Information

You will be required to work a shift pattern including earlies, lates, sleepings and some weekends. Having a full clean driving licence is preferable.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System.
