We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated programme co-ordinator to be the lynchpin of the council and city’s response to welcoming and settling Ukrainian Refugees.

Working with colleagues from across the council, the Fire Service, the NHS, the Job Centre, the community, and voluntary sector, and with Ukrainian refugees and residents the post holder is responsible for pulling together and overseeing the delivery of a programme of holistic support. 

A fast-paced role requiring daily independent decision making and strong partnership building skills the postholder will directly influence a wide range of services.

Keen attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills are a must along with experience of managing significant budgets and commissioning services and activities.

The post holder will be supported by a dedicated programme administrator.

A great opportunity to be at the sharp end of developing and delivering support and services for newcomers from Ukraine as well as generating learning and change that will improve services for all refugees and migrants.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.

Working arrangements are subject to Government guidance at the time. Your contractual location will be the designated council office for your team and travel to and from your contractual location would be at your own expense.
