About the role

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our forward-thinking staff team.  Working in Key Stage (KS) 1 or 2, the successful candidate will:

  • have a flexible approach, be willing to take on new ideas and use your initiative
  • have excellent interpersonal skills, be keen to learn, a hard worker and team-player – understanding classroom roles and own position within these
  • have the energy and creativity to make whole class learning experiences challenging and support the good progress of all learners
  • constantly be able to improve your own practice and knowledge through self-evaluation and learning from others
  • have high aspirations, be highly motivated, and enjoy the privilege of working with all children, across the age range, helping them to succeed
  • have excellent literacy and numeracy skills

These roles involve working as a general TA and as one to one support with individual children at different points during the day. Experience of both would be an advantage.
