Blatchington Mill School seeks a Facilities Support Assistant to join the Facilities Team at this popular and successful comprehensive secondary school within the local authority of Brighton & Hove. This is a large site with fabulous facilities including all weather pitches, sports halls and a well-equipped theatre, the successful candidate will have contact with a range of users of these facilities.
About the role
The job is varied, challenging and satisfying. This role is central to the safety and welfare of our whole school community.
This role will involve statutory checks on our facilities including our minibuses and being the point of contact for contractors and deliveries as well as basic maintenance. We have high standards of health and safety, training and professional development are encouraged.
We particularly welcome applications from candidates with experience of similar roles either in an educational setting or elsewhere. Full induction and training will be provided as appropriate to the role.
