Job introduction

Paid weeks per year: 44.65 inclusive of holiday entitlement

Balfour Primary School requires a detail oriented, enthusiastic and flexible Admin Assistant with excellent customer service and IT skills.  The successful candidate will be expected to provide support with general office duties whilst also providing exceptional customer service to our families, students, staff and other stakeholders.  This post will also support the Business Manager with administrative HR and payroll tasks

Candidates should be able to provide evidence of:

•           Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•           Excellent knowledge of a range of ICT packages, particularly Microsoft Office

•           Detail oriented

•           An ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and able to use their own initiative

•           Good organisational and time management skills

•           Flexible, adaptable and reliable

Hours: The post holder will be expected to work term time only, 1:00pm – 4:00pm Monday - Friday

Salary: LGA scale 3, £19,312 - £19,698 pro rata.  This post is 15 hours per week, term time only, so the actual starting salary will be £6,722

Term:  This is a maternity cover post.  We anticipate this will last one year.
