Project Managers (Health & Adult Social Care Modernisation)

We are looking for two experienced Project Managers to join the council’s Corporate Programme Management Office (CPMO). The CPMO oversees the council’s Modernisation portfolio of programmes, projects and service reviews to bring about improvements and efficiency, and directly manages a number of these areas of work. The team is the council’s ‘Centre of Excellence’ for these activities and alongside setting standards, supports colleagues across the organisation with advice, coaching, quality assurance and training.

The Health & Adult Social Care Modernisation Programme contains a range of projects and reviews focused on foundations and structure, improving practice and processes, digitalisation and modernising services. We are looking for: Project Managers (2 x one year fixed term contracts) to specifically work on the Modernisation of our Health & Adult Social Care directorate. Experience of working with Adult Social Care, or similar services, would be desirable.

All posts will be line managed within the CPMO and benefit from the expertise and peer support of other Programme and Project Managers who are leading the Modernisation of the organisation.

We welcome staff who wish to work flexibly. At the moment, our team are working from home and the office. In the future, the role may involve a mix of home and office-based work but this depends on the team and service need.

Additional information

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
