About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to build on the recent growth of the housing adaptations service and lead on the development of staff and services that provide the specialist assessment for and delivery of major housing adaptations in council and private sector homes. Making the best use of the adaptations funding including with a focus on reducing accidents in the home, tackling fuel poverty and reducing delayed transfers of care. The role requires a broad knowledge of housing and issues facing older and disabled people, strong people and communication skills and offers a real opportunity to help speed up and simplify access to services that enable people to live well and as independently at home for as long as possible and promoting equality.

Additional information
Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is less than 37 hours or term-time only.
