Nursery Assistant– Scale 2 - To give support to children with additional needs
15–30 hours per week to match child’s attendance, usually a school day (9.30 – 3.30) and term time only.
From £18,328 - £18,933 (pro rata)

About the role

We have some short term vacancies (usually for one school year) to give support to children with additional needs, these are linked to the times and duration of the child’s attendance – often 9.30 – 3.30 for part of the week or 9.30 – 1.15, 4x mornings a week – these are all term time only.

Applicants are at an advantage if they have:
- A relevant childcare qualification
- Experience of working with children under five in an Early Years environment.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS and practical experience of planning and assessing for children of this age.
- A proven work ethic, showing ability to sustain commitment.
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding would be advantageous
- Experience of working with children who have additional needs would also be preferable
