Job introduction

Technology Technician (Design and Technology)  Part-Time 22.66 hours per week, term time only

Required to start as soon as possible, 44.2 weeks of the year (term time only). 22.66 hours per week: over 4 days. LGA Pay Scale 1/2, scale point 4. Full time salary £18,562 - £18,933. Actual pro rata salary is £9,662 - £9,855 per annum.

Patcham High School is looking to appoint a Technology Technician to provide support to staff and students within our vibrant Design and Technology Department.

About the role

The successful candidate will help to prepare resources for the students to use in the workshops during class time – predominantly wood, but also other materials. You will also be required to help students operate machinery and to be responsible for the maintenance of equipment. Ideally candidates will have experience in this field, but training can be provided if required. A detailed job description and person specification is attached.
