Job introduction

Nursery Assistant– Scale 3 

34.5 hours per week

Monday to Friday, shifts between 8am and 6pm (at present 2 long days and 3 short days)               

From £19,312 - £19,698 per annum, (pro rata)

52 paid weeks per year

 

Closing date: Sunday 15th August 2021 Midnight

Interview date: Friday 20th August 2021

Desired Qualification: Relevant qualifications / experience – training available

Start date: September 2021 or as soon as possible

 

 

About the role

Applicants should have:

  • A relevant childcare qualification
  • Experience of working with children under five in an Early Years environment.
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS and practical experience of planning and assessing for children of this age.
  • A proven work ethic, showing ability to sustain commitment.
  • Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding would be advantageous
  • Experience of working with children who have additional needs would also be preferable
