Job introduction

Sessional Contact Supervisors are needed primarily for supervising contact between children and separated family members across the city -  in contact centres and the community.

You will be required to fully document details of the contact and to submit your report within 24 hours. Full training and excellent support are provided.

 

About the role

Sessional contact supervisors are based at home and must have internet access on their own computer. A full driving licence and use of a car for business purposes are essential.

Applicants must have knowledge of child protection issues and previous experience of working with children and families. Excellent report writing and IT skills are vital, along with an ability to deal sensitively with difficult or unexpected situations as they arise. Although an A level standard education is desirable we would positively welcome applications from people who can demonstrate good written and communication skills.

Applicants must also be able to work individually and as part of team, have an understanding of anti-racist practice and be aware of safe working practices.

Casual Hours between 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday and weekends
