Job introduction

The Health & Adult Social Care Commissioning Team provides essential and highly valued services to improve the quality of life of people who are rough sleeping or homeless.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supported Housing Placement Officer to join our team.

This is an opportunity to facilitate referrals into supported accommodation for homeless people.  Assessing and making decisions on appropriate accommodation options and processing referrals

The post holder will undertake administration for other accommodation access schemes where necessary including the Council Interest Queue and Private Rented Sector Access Scheme.

Fixed term for: 1 year. We would be happy to consider anyone who would like to apply on the basis of a secondment from their substantive job.  If you would like to apply on the basis of a secondment please get the agreement from your manager before applying.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.

Work Permits: we may be able to obtain a Work Permit for this post but this is subject to meeting the requirements of the UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) Points-based Immigration System.
