How we help staff work flexibly
Flexible working allows us to employ different types of people more easily. We have staff who work flexi-time, term time only, job share and in different locations to reduce travel time.
We offer generous holiday entitlements, from 25 to 34 days, plus bank holidays.

As a new starter, your contractual location is the designated council office for your team. Working arrangements for your role varies according to your service and role, and the current government guidance.
For many roles, there are opportunities for hybrid working as we pilot hybrid working arrangements across the council. You are required to go into the workplace on occasion in line with your team and service arrangements. This will be discussed with you separately.
